a red letter day

So this came in the mail today. If any of my neighbors happened to be around while I was standing at my mailbox I might be a little embarrassed. I was excited. It's always been a dream of mine to travel abroad. When I say a dream I really mean a dream that started when I was in the 6th grade and stayed with me to this day. Thanks to Ms. Overby, a teacher that I'll never forget. Although I'm not leaving tomorrow this passport made my dream come alive if that makes any sense.

Over the holidays as I was finishing up my Christmas shopping I saw this cute passport case for a bargain so I decided to buy myself a little Christmas gift knowing that I would be getting a passport soon. Now I'm the proud owner of this nifty little silver thing with a PASSPORT to anywhere tucked inside. Bliss. CIAO!

Cute passport carrier/case! So one word of device when traveling (even though I've only been out of the country once...) Don't carry your passport when you're shopping/site seeing. Leave it in that cute case, hidden in your hotel, definately out of sight. I have a passport/money carrier that you wear under your clothes if you're interested. I know I'm a totally un-fashionable, dork... :)

How exciting! I need to get one, too, and may just hit you up for some questions...
