Jury Duty

So I get a letter in the mail that starts out as follows:

"On behalf of the judges and staff of the courts of Cache County, greetings."

Why do I get the feeling this isn't going to be the kind of "greetings" I like?!  Feeling confirmed...

Oh great!!  Jury duty.  So I noticed that you can check deceased or does not live here.  I wouldn't go so far as death but I am moving this weekend.  Is that bad?  Can I do that? It's tempting but I might feel un-American...

OR I guess I could see if they will excuse me.  Full time student... yeah that's not a good excuse.

What do you think??

That's a tough one...my roommate is a prosecutor and tells me there are lots of ways to get yourself off of a jury...but he wouldn't tell me specifically how.

Where are you moving?

I got out of it twice but it's because I'm a mom. I would go. Who knows, it might actually be interesting! Just make sure your professors won't penalize you:)

I had to go to jury duty once, but they didn't need all of us. So they drew some names who got to go home...including ME!! It was awesome.

Hi Sweet Becky! I am sure you don't remember me, but I used to babysit for you in Houston when you were so little! You are such a beauty! You always were. (Your mom gave me your blog info.)
