Happy Birthday Jill!

Jill is a good friend of mine from college. She is actually one of the first girls I met up at BYUI. My first recollection of meeting her was right outside the Manwaring Center. During the first day or two of orientation we had all met someone that linked us together so here we were waiting to get into our first college dance! Jill and I quickly introduced ourselves as we piled in the building.

Learned pretty quickly that night that we both LOVE to dance. So I guess you could say we became fast friends!

Funny story... we both decided to go to our ward welcome picnic together and our conversation goes something like this (okay that's not funny but keep reading)-

Jill: What's your last name again?

me: Kendrick

Jill: That's a really common last name

me: Not really..

Jill: Do you have any relatives in Dallas?

me: My aunt and uncle live there.

Jill: Does your aunt have really pretty eyes?

me: YES!

We put it together. Basically our families go way back. On our way home we stopped in to pick up our mail and Jill had a package from Julie Kendrick. My Aunt Julie Kendrick! She had sent her a late HS graduation gift... we were dying. Funny, right?! Or maybe just really kinda cool! Guess we were destined to be friends!

Happy Birthday Jill!!! I hope you can't help but smile all day, have outbursts of laughter, of course dance, and feel a downpour of love and not rain (looks like you may have both)! You are amazing!

Look how cute her little man is! I will be seeing Dane-boo this week! Jealous? I would be.
